- The WFR is for developing your physical self-defense in an organic and low-intensity format
- The INTENT of the workshop curricula is to help us practice to avoid harm by applying these techniques

- Detecting
- Deescalating
- Blocking
- Deflecting
- Avoiding
- Retreating
- Sometimes Forgiving, and
- Counteracting to protect against harm, hurt, victimization etc
- These are the things we need to practice and "practice" as we know makes permanent and perfect
- From a bit of a philosophical perspective, everything in life exists on the scale of life and death (672) and unfortunately harm is on that scale which either destroys value or leads to wrongful death
- All it takes is one incident or accident to have life-changing consequences, and that’s why we need to practice safety
- Our mindfulness in safety can be STRATEGICALLY focused to recognize these 4 life-safety goals which are -
- Personal Safety
- Professional Safety
- Economy, and
- Survival
- To implement that strategy we need some measurable objectives which are our 4 self-defenses. These are -
- Personal Self-defense

- Intellectual Self-defense, and
- Physical Self-defense
- All together we now have the strategic components to practice to protect ourselves against harms such as -

- First,let’s address a few Pre-requisites for self-defense
- This traing assumes you have no prior self-defense training
- You are of good character, conduct and behavior
- Certain techniques are taught after you sign a Terms of Use agreement promising that you will not abuse the techniques to cause harm

- Our Self-defenses are an inalienable right but some people do not respect the rights of others
- Self-defense according to Maryland's Law is called the Maryland’s Retreat Law, Castle Law
- You’re not an aggressor (no room for aggression)
- Other states have similar laws or Stand Your Ground Law
- Aggression is stepping forward but self-defense is retreating
- MFI360 WFR is taught and practiced as a retreat-oriented workout routine
- Health benefits from daily exercise
- WFR is an organic and low-intensity workout
- A study found in the NIH.gov archives shows that there are higher infection rates with high-intensity workouts
- Relatively less stress on your body
- It’s about Blocking and deflection about 99% and 1% strike-force

- Our basic concern is to Protect our personal 2FT space around us
- To Develop agility, instincts, muscle and movement memory, and reflexes
- Now let’s turn to the self-defense practice training routine
- Let’s Get in the mindset of self-defense
- But we’ll start with some warm-up routines
- These Workouts assume you had no prior self-defense training
- Remember to breathe fully in all of your movements during or after workouts
- Imagine you need to get in self-defense mode
- (Pull out your phone and call 9111 or Siri 9111)
- Let’s hit the warm-ups now before the self-defense routine (5mins)
- Inhale/exhale
- Regulation body temperature
- Holding your breath
- Arms, legs, waist orbits
- Jumping
- Swiveling
- Friction running
- Let’s try some self-defense Forms routine
- Now that you’ve just defended yourself call 9111 or Siri 9111
- Imagine you need to get in self-defense mode
- A quick note about Forms
- For speed (add spin and swivel)
- For power (use gravity)
- Stay within the orbit

- How do you get good at all these techniques? PRACTICE

- So the MFI360 Workout Fitness Routine gives you a fighting chance (no pun intended) to defend yourself or help someone else and to live to die another day
