The Employer-Employee Relationship
Society depends on it

Introduction
Each of us fulfill some role in the decision-making process at the executive, managerial, and operational levels. As such we are meeting our company’s strategic objectives in producing products and services for the market. These products and services are the value stream of the organizations we are part of. Creating such value is our penultimate reason for the work we do. However, ultimately the real reason we work to create value is rooted in our human need to create value for our society in general. In other words, we are destined to create value for our society purely by virtue of our humanness and our intelligence. It's as if we're in a value race with no turning back.
The Purpose of Value
Whether we create value for one set of companies or another is not the do-all and end-all. What is primary is the fact that we enjoy creating value for society. Ultimately we have a value-for-compensation exchange model by which society receives value as well as society (individually) earns a means of exchange to purchase goods and services.
Employer-Employee Mandate
As such, workers in the process, by definition shall find work with organizations to sustain livelihoods, and organizations shall provide value to society through the workers who sustain the creation of value for society. Therefore, those in management are only provided a trust to execute faithfully by ensuring workers/creators of value (employees) are treated fairly and in response that such workers/creators of value are in a position of trust to treat management (employers) fairly.
Management and Trust
If those in management fail to faithfully execute their position of trust towards ensuring creators of value are treated properly, fairly, respectfully, and respectably, then such managers are in dereliction of the trust placed upon them and of their greater duties to society.
Workers and Trust
If workers/creators of value fail to faithfully execute their position of trust towards ensuring organizations are treated properly, fairly, respectfully, and respectably, then such workers/creators are in dereliction of the trust placed upon them and of their greater duties to society.
Symbiotic Relationship
All else being equal, employees should never fear persecution from management or fear of losing their jobs. Managers do hold a position of trust to faithfully execute such trust fairly, equitably, and with integrity and should consider that their role and responsibility comes with accountability. Similarly, management should never fear employees abandon their jobs.
Conclusion
Both management and employees should always seek to proactively discuss their grievances and all reasonable possibilities and options for reaching agreements and settlements in sustaining this crucial value-for-compensation model for the benefit of society. The employer-employee relationship is a necessary win/win situation.
