Society depends on it

Introduction
A safer society is one free from harm, misconduct, civil or criminal negligence, disorderly behavior and misconduct and anything inimical to safety and goodness.  Looking at things in perspective, our universe is travelling at over 700K Miles Per Hour (MPH) and while we barely drive our cars at 70 MPH so why would we harm anyone when things greater than us can harm us in an instant.  Perhaps not the perfect comparison but the idea of our nothingness should prevent us from harming others and society?

The Problem
There are those on the right side of safety and those on the other side of safety.  Those on the other side of safety whether in their personal or professional capacities continue to break this simple rule of a safer society.  Perhaps it may be out of a lack of concern for others and property, and lack of overall safety for society in general.  Those who practice a lack of concern for safety and goodness must cease and desist, and to quit actions and behaviors that bring harm to society.  The Laws of society and the constitution also make this clear.

What's the Solution?
To be on the right side of society, we need to understand and have an appreciation of something about our relative helplessness as humans within the Universe around us.  In relative terms that we have no controlling capability for any of the objects of the universe or nature we depend upon for our existence.

Humility?
We have no control over the very things that we depend on for daily life such as the sun, moon, earth, time, water, air, life, death, etc.  This understanding of our helplessness should completely remove from our hearts any arrogance, unfounded rebelliousness, and ill-will to others towards creating a safer society.

Practices
We must train our minds to recognize harm and deflect such harm
We must train our minds to appropriately distinguish fear and to prevent unnecessary harm
We must train our minds to practice ONLY orderly conduct and orderly behaviors
(to be continued…)
